Cloud

Google cloud backup explained clearly

The website does not only say that there is a cloud feature, but also explains that it is optional and based on private appData snapshots.

Privacy

Privacy page as a permanent product page

The privacy policy lives publicly, bilingually, and permanently on the same domain as the product site.

Issue reports

What helps when you report an issue

A few concrete details help much more than a long general description when something goes wrong.

  1. Which area was affected: library, wishlist, scan, covers, suggestions, or cloud?
  2. On which device and app version did the issue occur?
  3. If there was an error message, note the wording as precisely as possible.
  4. For cloud issues, package name, SHA-1 hint, and Google status code are especially useful.
FAQ

Support FAQ

The most common support questions are not only about errors, but also about expectations around storage and setup.

Why does cloud backup not work for every Google account immediately?

As long as Google OAuth is still in testing mode, real test accounts have to be explicitly allowed in Google Cloud. Public operation later requires a dedicated production setup with website, verified domain, and `In production`.

Can I reproduce many issues without cloud backup?

Yes. Many areas of Booky are fully local, especially library management, wishlist, reading progress, local backups, and exports.

How quickly can I save multiple books?

That is exactly what the bulk ISBN scan flow is for. During batch save, Booky now also shows a visible saving state so the app does not look frozen.

Where is the full privacy policy?

On the dedicated privacy page of this website. It is part of the repository and maintained together with the product site.
